Join the Boston Globe’s “Job Doc” Patricia Hunt Sinacole for her presentation, “Job Hunting Do's and Don'ts.” This interactive session will be packed with information to help you become more productive, including the use/misuse of social media in a search; networking tips; a job hunter’s elevator speech, resumes and references, cover letters; and job search statistics. This year she has added more information about LinkedIn and tips for “being found” on LinkedIn. Trends will also be discussed in both talent acquisition and the world of employment.

Led by Patricia Hunt Sinacole, the CEO and Founder of First Beacon Group, LLC, a Human Resources consulting firm that provides HR services to a wide variety of companies across New England. Pattie holds a BA from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and an MBA from Babson. Pattie’s diverse industry experience includes technology, financial services, biotechnology, healthcare, higher education, e-commerce, professional services, marketing/public relations agencies, medical devices, life sciences and non-profits. Pattie’s unique background provides her with the ability to understand both financial and strategic concepts and their influence on the ever-changing world of HR.
