Join the Cape Ann Climate Coalition to learn how energy coaches from the CACC's Save Green program can help you navigate the Mass Save program, and how income-eligible renters and their landlords can have a more energy efficient home at no cost. Watch as the CACC use a thermal image camera to demonstrate how good weatherization is essential for a building, and enjoy fresh pancakes while they demonstrate how easy it is to use an induction cooktop!
The CACC donated an induction stovetop to the library, so you can also borrow it our Library of Things if you would like to try out an induction stovetop for yourself.
About Cape Ann Climate Coalition
The CACC was formed in 2019 after two highly successful quasi-public meetings. The goal was to engage Cape Ann residents in exploring effective collaboration and coordination efforts in mitigating and adapting to climate change. One hundred members from non-profits, schools, houses of worship, business people, students, representatives of municipal and state governments, and interested individuals representing the four municipalities of Cape Ann attended (Rockport, Essex, Manchester, and Gloucester, MA).
