2. Discuss April 6, 2024 Town Meeting

Note: the RCL website (in our signature) has the April 6, 2024 Town Meeting Warrant for all the articles. Please use this as your reference.

Question: why is the Recall article N vote from the Government By Law Committee (GBL) a nonbinding vote? The Select Board (SB) does not need to do anything if the Town Meeting votes in favor. (a nonbinding vote has no legal power.) the RCL question: Does the SB and the GBL want a Recall law in Rockport?

3. Organizers and members vote during the RCL meeting if RCL should meet weekly on the same week as SB. This way, the RCL may tell the members and public about the SB meeting results.

4. Discuss then. Organizers and members at the meeting vote on having all SB candidates use the RCL website to post their platforms. The voters will then use the RCL website as a source for the Town election on May 7th.
