1. Review Next steps from July 24,2024

• Bill to call Melanie (Town Clerk) to clarify the deadline for submitting citizen petitions.

Action: Discovered Select Board’s (SB)Policy is different than Town Clerk’s which is direct from State Law. Ross Brackett told RCL he will rectify.

• Bill to contact Select Board members to ask about their preferences for returning to in-person meetings, with Zoom or Hybrid.

Action: Asked in SB public comment August 6. SB has not yet deliberated this.

2. SB meetings in August? What are issues going into Fall Town Meeting now that the Warrant is closed?

3. Citizen Petitions Forum suggestions. The date is set for Saturday August 31, 2024 at 10:00 am in Library. As always, a Hybrid meeting. [There are no citizen petitions.]

4. Still need to ask RCL to submit articles to Rockport’s new local news source. thelocalnews.news/Rockport

5. Discuss Housing Bond bill which Governor still needs to sign. The law will impact on Rockport’s future for building Affordable Housing.
