Mother-daughter team Sharon R Chace and Amy E Chace will share poems from their new children's book, Strengthening Hearts and Minds. The book is written by Sharon Chace, Poet Laureate Emeritus of Rockport, and illustrated by Amy Chace.

"My poems are informed by childhood memories of challenge, happiness, and even funny moments. Poems are deceptively simple and not just for children. Before the pandemic, I shared some poems with the residents of the Den-Mar, now Oceanside. They found them enjoyable and engaging.  In 1967-1968, when my husband was in graduate school, I was a sub-professional librarian in the Boys and Girls Library in Newton, MA." -Sharon Chace
