Join a lively group of seniors of all skill levels for a weekly game of Mahjong.  The only requirement is that players know enough about Mahjong to be able to play the game without instruction.  If you have a set bring it, but it is not required.  There are also Mahjong sets available to borrow through our catalogue of the Library of Things.

What is Mahjong (or Mah Jong)?

Mahjong originated in China in the 19th century and is a tile-based game of skill, strategy, and luck. It's played with 144 tiles and is usually played by four people, sometimes three. The game is similar to rummy, and is popular in East and Southeast Asia, as well as in Western countries.
