Join us and paint a bowl in the Brenner Room at the Rockport Public Library in support of The Open Door's flagship fundraiser, The Empty Bowl.

Each spring, The Open Door hosts the annual Empty Bowl Dinner to raise funds to support their Mobile Markets and Summer Meals for Kids programs. Guest of the Empty Bowl fundraiser event receive a meal of soup and a hand-painted bowl, taken home as a reminder that somewhere someone's bowl is empty.

There are limited spots available so be sure to register below to paint a bowl with us.   The Open Door provides the supplies and the library will provide the pizza!

Your bowl will be fired by the library's in-house pottery artist extraordinaire, Holly Herring and distributed through The Open Door Empty Bowl fundraiser on April 24, 2024 from 4-8pm at the Cruiseport.  If you would like to purchase a Pay-what-you-can ticket for this year's circus themed, Empty Bowl Fundraiser, they will be available on the Open Door's website on April 1. 

The online auction for artists' bowls will also be made available through their website this April.
