Notable Fiction Zoom meeting: Sunday, September 27th from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Discuss best-selling novel Nickel Boys by Colson Whitehead

Short Summary The Nickel Boys is a NYT best-selling 2019 novel by Colson Whitehead and his 2nd Pulitzer Prize. The relatively short novel is the story of Elwood Curtis – as a young teenager, Curtis is unjustly sent to a Florida reform school, where he figures out how to survive. But there is a cost to maintaining his principles in the face of adversity. NPR calls the book a “masterpiece.”
