Narcan Information Session with ONESTOP Harm Reduction Services
Tuesday, January 235:30—6:30 PMBrenner RoomRockport Public Library17 School Street, Rockport, MA, 01966
Our community Naloxone (Narcan ®) training goes over everything from what how opioids interact with the body, what Narcan does, and how to take steps to prevent overdose, recognize an overdose, and respond to an overdose. Taking part in the training will give you all the tools you need to confidently respond to this medical emergency. Folks will leave with Narcan to take with them, while feeling more empowered and educated on the topic. Folks are encouraged to ask questions and engage with the trainers during the training.
The North Shore Health Project/ONESTOP offers a harm reduction model that encourages people affected by or at risk for HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis C and/or substance use disorder to benefit from our support services, case management and advocacy efforts.
ONE STOP is an acronym that represents the many harm reduction services we provide: Outreach, Needle Exchange, Sexual health, Testing, and Overdose Prevention.
