The Mid-Autumn Festival is a Chinese holiday that is held on the 15th day of the eighth month in the lunar calendar, when the moon is believed to be the brightest. To celebrate, families gather having mooncakes, making tong yuen, playing with lanterns, and gazing at the moon. Similar celebrations are held in Japan and Korea as well.

For anyone who wants to join our celebration we will have paper crafts ALL DAY in the Brenner Room, stop by and make something to take home.

From 4:00-4:45PM, we will end the day with a lantern craft, please REGISTER to reserve your lantern supplies.
