Tuesday, February 45:30—6:30 PMTrustees RoomRockport Public Library17 School Street, Rockport, MA, 01966

The scientific community has recently been exploring the use of meditation as a healing modality. Join Eileen Carlotto, long-time meditator as she discusses the extraordinary effect of meditation to reduce stress-related responses, improve concentration, and enhance clarity of thought and mental equilibrium. In this one hour program, you will experience two meditations with simple instructions, followed by discussion and time for Q&A.

Led by Eileen Carlotto,  a retired middle-school art teacher, author, and illustrator from Gloucester. She has written, Through the Stars, an illustrated book for young children and is illustrating stories that have become part of a series of mystic stories for children.  With 40 years meditation experience to draw on, Eileen offers workshops on various aspects of meditation and spirituality. She demonstrates how, in the middle of a jam-packed, daily schedule, you can integrate your spiritual practice into your own busy life.
