Cozy Medicinal Tea Blending for Adults & Families

Anyone can make a delicious and medicinal herbal tea blend! In this class led by herbalist, Mo Katz Christy we will discuss a handful of common herbs for tea: their medicinal uses, flavors, energies, and what they add to a blend.
We will smell each of the herbs and taste some as well before making our very own tea blends to take home with us.
Part information and science, part sensory exploration, this class will be as playful as it is educational!

About Mo Katz Christy: A Boston area clinical herbalist and community educator, Mo works with individuals using plants to address the root imbalances that cause dysregulation in order to build long-term healing, focusing on gut health. Mo spent three years studying herbalism at the Vermont Center for Integrative Herbalism. She learned from many brilliant teachers including Betzy Bancroft, Larken Bunce, Linden de Voil, Kristin Henningsen, Guido Masé, and Ember Peters, and continues to learn about plants from colleagues, students, mentors — and from her garden and kitchen!
